Family Ability

Family Ability: “This Land is Claimed”

“This Land is Claimed” is the Osborne family’s special ability and can be used once per game. The statement must be loudly declared alongside marking a place with chalk or charcoal, or simply firmly planting one’s feet at the entryway.

The effect ensures that the Osborne has claimed dominion over the immediate space (a room, a building, a field, an entryway, etc.) All those within the area feel as though the space has become the Osborne’s by divine right - they have effectively become Master of the space. Any attempt to resist, challenge, or trespass upon the space against the Osborne’s will imports an intense feeling of pressure, unease and spiritual wrongness, as if they are defiling a sanctified place.

The effect lasts until the mark has been removed, or the Osborne is no longer present in the space.
