Family Ability

"Let me share your burden"

Being the individuals that they are, the Kinless have no bespoke preference to distinctive style or design. All that sets them out from those in an established Family is their ivory or beige attire, preferring to show their individuality through styling, accessories, and accoutrements.

  • The Kinless are those without association of family who have made the individual choice to travel across the world on their own.

  • Being untethered from prior bonds and connections enables them to be free to give their loyalty however they please.

  • They rely heavily on the community as a whole for their personal survival, but they are unbeholden to family bias, opinions or feuds and are therefore considered impressive mediators.

  • These are the individuals who show their worth and choose whom to bind themselves to without family baggage acting as a weight on their trust.

Family Ability

Family Ability: “Let me share your burden”

“Let me Share your burden” is the special ability of the Kinless. It must be invoked by saying to another individual: “Let me share your burden”.

Once per game, a Kinless may use this ability to compel someone to tell the truth. It is not necessarily that the individual trusts them, but the lack of family baggage earns a certain level of unconnected-ness where truths may feel they can be given more openly. The ability imports an overwhelming feeling of spiritual judgement and condemnation from the Lord upon the target. This feeling can only be alleviated by the target admitting all their sins, grievances and guilts to the Kinless who enacted this ability, and they feel spiritually compelled to do so.

For example: “Master Osborne, you seem to be struggling, please, let me share your burden.
